The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued an advisory on Wednesday warning that Trasyolol may cause serious side effects in patients undergoing artery bypass graft surgery.
Trasyolol is used to prevent blood loss during surgery. It has been linked by two scientific publications to higher risks of side effects, such as heart attacks and strokes
