Besides, the National vitamin 'A' plus campaign this year will also be held on the same day under the same arrangements. The campaign was observed separately during the last three years.
Health and Family Welfare Minister of Bangladesh Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain briefed newsmen in the capital on Friday about the various measures taken ahead of the NDI program and vitamin A campaign and sought assistance of the media for familiarizing the people about the twin programs.
The 1st round of 13th NDI was observed on April 16 and the 2nd round on May 13 in the country.
