The genetic mutations in the recently recreated, 1918 flu are similar to those seen in the H5N1 avian flu virus killing tens of millions of poultry and some people in Asia | | Researchers at Johns Hopkins University find a kidney-exchange program is turning up positive results. The live-donor practice involves matching up a patient who needs a kidney with a compatible stranger. In return, the patient recruits a friend or relative willing to donate an organ to a stranger. Researchers tracked 22 patients who received kidneys from living strangers. Only one transplant failed, due to clotting problems unrelated to organ rejection | | Male Breast cancer is on the rise, and awareness about the disease needs to occur. Astounded and shocked is how men described feeling when learning they had breast cancer, a disease they didn't even know men could suffer from. How men cope with the disease is still a mystery.
