Australian scientists have confirmed that pregnant women's memory falter during their pregnancy period and this would last until after giving birth.

The study showed that pregnant women may experience memory loss for at least a year after giving birth. Would-be-mothers lose some minor and unfamiliar details and tasks while pregnant.

More than 1,000 different women, mothers, pregnant women and non-pregnant women were involved in 14 different studies analyzed by the Australian researchers. The studies test memory performance of the women from around the world.

In the research, it was found that pregnant women performed worse on some test but not in all aspect.

Research showed that hardest tests for mothers-to-be were those which involved difficult and new tasks.
