A new report in China is blaming the Web for teen pregnancies. According to a newspaper report, nearly 46 percent of pregnant teens in China's financial capital Shanghai met their partners on the Internet.

The report by Dr. Zhang Zhengrong of Shanghai's No. 411 Hospital also highlights the widespread ignorance among teenagers about sexual health. Almost half of the 20,000 girls who called the city's pregnancy hot line during the past two years said they had sex with boys they met online

Married Men Can Spread STIs Says New Study

NYC Free Condom Giveaway Declared "A Sensation"

ew York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg officially declared the city's free condom distribution program, "a sensation," saying New York has given away a record 5 million condoms during the first month of the city's new safe-sex awareness effort.

The condoms, which feature the words "NYC CONDOM," are designed similarly to the city's subway system, complete with the trademark font and colors of the transit system. The condoms are being distributed throughout the city in an effort to combat the spread of HIV/AIDS, other sexually transmitted diseases, and reduce unwanted pregnancies
