| More than half of American teens ages 15 to 19 have engaged in oral sex, increasing to nearly 70% for those who are 18 and 19, according to the largest federal study of the nation's sexual practices. Findings now suggest a shift in sexual practices, in which females are using oral and lesbian sex "as a safer alternative than [vaginal] sex with men | | A test released Wednesday shows that the drug misoprostol is almost as effective as surgery for removing tissue that remains in the uterus after a failed pregnancy. The drug, called Cytotec by manufacturers G.D. Searle and Pfizer Inc., has a success rate of around 85 percent, says Jun Zhang of the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, the chief author of the study | | New research shows that babies conceived due to the failure of the "morning after" pill, levonorgestrel, are just as healthy as other babies. The study involved 36 pregnant women who were exposed to levonorgestrel and 80 similar women who were not.
