Report: Military Mental Health System Needs Help STAT, 3 Out of 10 Soldiers Have "Mental Disorder"

A coalition of psychologists charged with analyzing the military's mental health system came to some startling conclusions. They found that the war in Iraq is not only taxing to everyone involved, it has stressed the health organization to the point that many Iraq war soldiers, veterans and their families are not receiving the needed psychological help they need.

Study Finds Rise In Women Who Provide Egg Donations Are Not Coerced By Money

Women who are providing their own human eggs for donation to infertile parents are on the rise. Human egg donation used to be considered a rarity. However, the current demand for eggs and the increasing compensation provided to donors has been studied to determine if women have been more compelled to contemplate donation and go ahead and exchange their eggs for money.

"...Researchers concluded that, although the egg donors had good use for the money they received as compensation, $5,000 is not so high as to be coercive. AMA Medical Students/Residents Lobby Congress For Uninsured, Medicare, Debt

Medical students and residents all across the country are convening on Monday to lobby Capital Hill. More than 300 American Medical Association (AMA) students have planned to visit over 200 legislators from both the Congress and the Senate in an effort to urge policies to ease medical student debt, preserve and reform the Medicare health care system, and provide help for the medically uninsured.

American Students Reject Junk Food

A latest survey made by the School Nutrition Association has shown that more U.S. students particularly in kindergarten through 12th grade, are shifting to healthy diets and reject junk foods.
