The 85-year-old actress earned fame in the 1972 movie classic "The Poseidon Adventure."
Agent David Shane says, "She had a heart attack on Friday. She's nearly back to her normal self and her prognosis is excellent,"
In a statement, Winters' family says, "We are so thankful to Shelley's fans for their support and words of encouragement. We expect Shelley to be home in about a week."
Winters won two Academy Awards for best supporting actress for her roles in the 1959 film "The Diary Of Anne Frank" and for "A Patch Of Blue" (1965), and an Oscar nomination for her role in "Poseidon."
