Physcians say patients are falling ill and dying within 2-3 days after contracting the mystery virus.
Authorities say the outbreak, while more serious than average, is not particularly unusual, especially as the flu season approaches. But, doctors are ruling out influenza, avian flu, and SARS. Officials say it's possible they may never be able to identify the exact bug that causes the fatal illnesses.
