| AT and T is collaborating with the State of Tennessee to provide the first state wide health information exchange. The Tennessee Information Infrastructure eHealth Exchange Zone aims at securely transmitting detailed patient information between medical professionals, the telecommunications company said Monday. It will also make it easier for doctors to access medical histories, prescribe medicines over the Internet and transfer images like X-rays, MRIs and CT scans.
