According to the Los Angeles Times, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has officially filed suit against a California company that distributes the weight-loss pill, "CortiSlim."

According to the suit, the FTC is charging Window Rock Enterprises of Brea, CA; and several individuals associated with the pill, including Greg Cynaumon, a former police officer and Christian talk radio host, and Shawn Talbott, a nutritionist who formerly taught at the University of Utah.

The group produces two different pills, "CortiSlim" and "CortiStress."

According to the FTC, neither pill lives up to the promises of the advertising.
