| Bidding on Roche Holding AG's flu drug Tamiflu has been halted on British Internet auction site eBay. The company pulled the sale of the drug after prices topped 100 pounds ($174) as fears grow over the spread of bird flu. A spokeswoman for eBay says the auction on its British site has been stopped because the sale of prescription drugs is prohibited under the company's rules, "The Tamiflu listings on eBay.co.uk were removed from the site as soon as we became aware of them. We do not permit the listing of any controlled drug or item that requires a prescription | | Swiss drugmaker Roche, under pressure to increase output of its antiviral drug Tamiflu as the avian flu reaches Europe, is considering allowing other medical firms to make the drug.
