Prevalence Of Rabies Causes Mass Extermination Of Dogs In China

Officials say 54,429 dogs were killed in Yunnan in an effort to put an end to rabies. Authorities in Moudin County in southwestern Yunnan province ordered mass extermination of dogs, pets and strays when three people died in a rabies outbreak.

Processed Meat May Increase Risk Of Stomach Cancer

Kenyan Boy Mauled By Dogs Undergoes Surgery

Daniel Wachira, a four year old Kenyan kid has undergone over 11 hours of surgery late Thursday in an effort to reconstruct his face, which was badly bitten by dogs.

The surgery, the first of a series of procedures to reconstruct the left side of the boy's face, went according to plan making a noticeable difference to the boy's nose, lip and eye. It was conducted in a Houston hospital, according to the Associated Press

WHO Confirms Six Cases Of Bird Flu In Indonesia
