| A new study published in the Archives of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, reveals that many teenage girls have sex because they feel pressured into it. In a survey of 297 teenage girls, researchers found that 41 percent said they'd had unwanted sex at some point. The most common reason was fear that their boyfriend would become angry. Ten percent, though, said their partner forced them have sex when they didn't want to. About 5 percent said they'd had sex after being offered money or gifts | | Preliminary research by Dr Mwethera of Kenya, finds that lemon juice can be effective against HIV infection and pregnancy. He also found that when researchers administered neat lemon juice into a baboon's vagina, it "killed the HIV virus" and sperms deposited by the male baboon. The findings published in the Kenyan Daily explains the science behind lemon juice saying that lemon juice is very acidic, with a pH level of about 2. The HIV virus and sperm cannot survive within an acidic environment. The optimum pH for survival of HIV virus and sperm is between 7.2 and 7.4, lemon juice simply makes the vagina too acidic | | Mexican researchers warn that the safe sex messages promoting the importance of using condoms or the benefits of abstinence have improved students' knowledge but has failed to change their risky behavior.
