Bausch and Lomb Defends Lens Solution

Retailers across the country have started pulling a Bausch and Lomb contact lens solution off their shelves, as the company warned it was not able to gauge the fallout from a federal investigation into whether the product was linked to a serious eye infection.

Bausch and Lomb stopped shipping ReNu with MoistureLoc cleanser to stores April 10 after the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said it was probing 109 reports of a rare fungal eye infection that can lead to blindness
