Portland, Maine Middle Schools Offer Birth Control Pills To Girls Aged 11 To 13

Wal-Mart Expands Its $4 Generic Drug Program

The world's largest retailer, Wal-Mart, is planning to add a few more drugs to its nationwide $4 generic prescription program. Soon Wal-Mart will sell generic versions of drugs to treat glaucoma, attention deficit disorder (ADD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), fungal infections and acne.

The company is also planning to sell prescription birth control drugs for $9, which is almost one third of regular prices. Wal-Mart will offer a monthly supply of prescription Ortho Cyclen and Ortho Tri Cyclen as part of its new effort to bring down prices
