| A 10 percent hike on alcohol taxes may save many Briton lives, according to the British Medical Association. The BMA said at least one-fourth of all deaths related to drinking are preventable. The figure could run into thousands of lives. The BMA proposed setting tax rate increases on alcoholic drinks according to its strength. But the British government had been adjusting upward the tax on drinks only equal to inflation rates on beer and wine, but not for the rest of the spirits | | The apparent relaxing effect of smoking is a coping mechanism for young people who may have experienced physical maltreatment or abuse during their younger days. According to scientists, the virus is transmitted through the blood and not the saliva of the infected person who has bleeding gums or even mouth sores. Pre-chewing baby food before giving it to the babies is a practice among poor or even developing countries where people can't afford to buy baby food or the equipment to grind up food for babies who can't chew because they have no teeth | |
